Please get in touch with the tutor yourself and make arrangements directly for when and where to meet. You are entitled to 2 hours per week free instruction as a student of Lewis and Clark College. WALK-IN TUTOR: Irene Zöller Huete is our walk-in tutor. She is in the lounge area (by the windows) on the 3rd floor of Miller, Wednesdays, from 3:00 to 4:30, and Thursdays from 12:30 - 2:00, to help you with any aspect of Spanish including conversation practice. No appointment necessary!! y Hours: Mondays, 3-4pm; Thursday 12:30-2:30pm

SPANISH LANGUAGE ASSISTANT Mariana Ortega, from Jujuy, Argentina, has office hours Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:50 to 2:50. Stop by to chat or get help with your Spanish (Miller 318).


MESA DE ESPAÑOL

All students of Spanish are encouraged to join the Spanish Conversation Tables. Come talk with our Spanish language assistant Mariana Ortega and other students -- very informal, no set topics, and NO preparation required!!

Mondays 7:00-8:00 at Maggie's

Thursdays 12:30-1:30 in the Bon (look for the "Mesa de Español" sign)

Films in Spanish

Everyone is invited to come see current and classic Spanish-language films from Spain and Latin America. They are shown every other week (time/place TBA). Shown with subtitles -- bring your friends!

Club de Español

Spanish Club is a great place to use your Spanish and have fun! Contact Mariana <eortega@lclark.edu> to get on the list for activities throughout the year: the annual Noche de Juegos en Español, outings to restaurants and concerts, the Fiesta de Salsa, International Fair, and more.
