- Where is the conference being held?
- On the campus of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon

- When is the registration deadline?
- The last day to register by mail is May 7th, after that date you must register at the conference for an
increased registration fee. ($125 students / $165 all others)
- Where is Portland, Oregon, USA?

If your using a GPS to find Portland we're at Latitude - N 45 degrees 27 minutes 01.5 seconds,
Longitude - W 122 degrees 40 minutes 07.9 seconds.
Portland is just a bit north of the halfway point between the North Pole and the Equator, at roughly the
same latitude as Lyon (France), Milan (Italy), and Sapporo (Japan).
We're also at the same latitude as Burlington, Vermont and Minneapolis, Minnesota (but without the
sub-zero temperatures.)

- Can I reserve campus housing instead of staying in a hotel?
- Yes, if you would prefer to stay on campus there are a limited number of 'shared' apartments
available at $35.00 per night.
- Campus housing is in either 2 bedroom or 4 bedroom apartments, each with a shared bath and common room.
- All bedrooms are single occupancy.
- What amenities are available in the campus apartments?
- * Bed linens and towels are provided, but no other amenity is available.
* There are no coffee pots, cooking pots, dishes, or utensils available.
- Will the campus dining hall be open?
Guests staying on campus have the option of purchasing the daily meal plan for $23.50 per day
instead of the box lunches, buffet dinner, and banquet dinner; but you would have to eat your meals in
the campus dining room. Be aware that a traditional breakfast isn't available unless you purchase the
daily meal plan.
If opting to forgo the daily meal plan, food service on campus is very limited.
Organized conference meals include:
- Daily mid-morning pastries and coffee available at no charge.
- Box lunch on Saturday for $7.95 per person (pre ordered)
- Box lunch on Sunday for $7.95 per person (pre-ordered)
- Buffet dinner on Friday for $15.00 per person (pre-ordered)
- Banquet dinner on Saturday for $25.00 per person (per ordered)
- Can I walk to local restaurants from the campus?
- The Lewis & Clark College campus is somewhat isolated; therefore off-campus meals are unavailable
unless private transportation is used.
- What type of transportation is available from my hotel to the campus?
- Shuttle service to/from hotel (Portland city center) and the campus will be provided at no charge.
- How far is it from Portland City Center to Lewis & Clark College?
- It is approximately 7 miles and takes about 15 minutes to travel the distance.
- I am presenting at the conference and require special AV needs, who do I contact?
