Amendments within punitive policy hint at broader scope of change
Student conduct letters are looking a little different this year.
A committee of Student Life administrators revised the letters this summer to be less dense and accusative. The letters, which students receive after being documented in an information report citing a potential college violation, notify recipients of conduct hearings and the outcomes of said hearings.

Numbers on binge drinking are down: Has LC returned to its grass roots?
After a surprising increase in the consumption of hard alcohol on campus last year which sent the number of policy violations skyrocketing, initial reports from Campus Safety and College officials indicate that Lewis & Clark students living on campus this year have backed off on the booze.

LC shuttle cut to save Trimet line 39
TriMet line 39 is on probation, but Lewis & Clark College is doing what it can to increase line 39 ridership this semester.

Law & Order: Timothy O'Dwyer becomes LC's new Director of Campus Safety
After retiring from a twenty-eight and a half year career working for the Portland Police Bureau, former Police Detective Timothy O’Dwyer joined Lewis & Clark this fall as its new Director of Campus Safety. He occupies the position lately held by former longtime director Bill Curtain.
