There are some who believe that technology takes away from the religious experience, and others who believe it enhances the religious experience. Because technology and religion can be used in many ways, each perspective is legitimate in different situations.
As with the larger issue of the contribution of technology to human happiness, the critical variables are the manner and purpose with which technology is used. There is nothing inherently useful or damaging about technology"
