This pyramid would occupy one city block due east of the Justice Center, helping to complete a Government Center for Portland.
It would make a great place for a new Multnomah County courthouse.
Note the 5 storie pedestal will provide space equivalent to current courthouse. The pyramid will add to that space. New floor plan so functions and use of space can be optimized... public access gradients, security, and all that. The question of course is, what would the Apex be used for? The Multnomah County Commissioner Meeting room? A public meeting room? The Juror Assembly Room? A lunch Room? ...
