Level 100 and up	English-Zone.Com - This is a *very* large site with English practice in all skill areas. There is a combination of free and members only resources.  The idioms section is organized by topic and the vocabulary section is organized by language level. Level 100 and up	ESL Vocabulary Quizzes (Englishclub.com) - Choose from categories such as animals, food and drink, jobs, categories, etc. There is also an intermediate and advanced level at http://www.englishclub.com/esl-quizzes/vocabulary-quizzes.htm
	Flickriver - Endless stream of images based on any search term. Great for low level learners who can enter concrete terms and see photos.  Think about learning categories of words, for example, foods, furniture, animals, etc.  Read A River of Images for how to use this resource in class (NP)
Level 100 and up	Interactive ESL Practice (Portland Community College) - A variety of quizzes and exercises for beginning and intermediate level students. The vocabulary activities are divided according to theme, for example, Occupations, Colors, Clothes, Human Body, etc. Lots of practice with basic vocabulary! http://spot.pcc.edu/map/prev/
Level 100 and up	Interesting Things for ESL Students (Charles Kelly and Larry Kelly) - You'll find many, many games/quizzes/puzzles here--all designed for ESL students. Improve your vocabulary, learn about U.S. Culture and have a good time while you are studying! Level 100 and up	The Internet Picture Dictionary - Picture dictionaries are great for learning new vocabulary. This picture dictionary has words organized by topic or alphabetically (A-Z). There are also activities to help you remember new vocabulary: flashcards, fill-in-the-blank, word scrambles, stinky spelling and more! http://www.pdictionary.com/
Level 100 and up	Learn English (Jacob Richman) is a free, on-line, educational resource helping ESL and EFL students to learn English words. The flash site incorporates 40 topics, along with over 1,500 English words and phrases. When you click on a word or phrase you can hear it spoken. Level 100 and up	LITTLE EXPLORERS Picture Dictionary (EnchantedLearning.com) - This is a great picture dictionary + more! At the top of the page, click on a letter of the alphabet and you will see a page of pictures which begin with that letter. Many of the pictures are links so you can learn more about that word. You can learn a lot of English and also a lot of useful information with this great dictionary! Want to do some research using the Picture Dictionary? Find the link, "Click here for classroom activities that use Little Explorers." You will find questions that you can answer by using the Picture Dictionary. Level 100 and up	Self-Study Quizzes - (Internet TESL Journal) There are 100's of quizzes here! They are arranged by subject or alphabetically. All levels of difficulty. Very quick and easy to use with instant checking of answers. Some of my favorite categories include: Vocabulary Quizzes, Idiom, Phrasal Verb, and Slang Quizzes, and Proverbs Matching. http://iteslj.org/quizzes/
Level 100 and up	Study Zone (English Language Center, University of Victoria) For Level 100 students: Martin Holmes provides about 100 pictures and asks the learner to choose the correct name for the picture from a list of words. Useful categories such as furniture, clothes, school and office, home appliances.
