English-Zone.Com - This is a *very* large site with English practice in all skill areas. There is a combination of free and members only resources.  The idioms section is organized by topic and the vocabulary section is organized by language level. This site is very well organized with *lots* of materials.

The Internet Picture Dictionary - Picture dictionaries are great for learning new vocabulary. This picture dictionary has words organized by topic or alphabetically (A-Z). LITTLE EXPLORERS Picture Dictionary (EnchantedLearning.com) - This is a great picture dictionary + more! At the top of the page, click on a letter of the alphabet and you will see a page of pictures which begin with that letter. Many of the pictures are links so you can learn more about that word. You can learn a lot of English and also a lot of useful information with this great dictionary!

Study Zone (English Language Center, University of Victoria) For Level 100 students: Martin Holmes provides about 100 pictures and asks the learner to choose the correct name for the picture from a list of words. Useful categories such as furniture, clothes, school and office, home appliances.
