English Language Listening Lab (ELLLO) - Certainly one of  the premier listening sites on the Web. There are over 1000 interviews, each with a complete set of listening activities. There are also a number of innovative activities that include audio, images and video. Audio files can be downloaded for use offline on computer, mp3 player or cell phone. There is a new interactive video component and also support topics on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. Teachers can use the "search" and "sort by" features to find activities on a common theme, thus creating great content-based lessons. This site is cutting edge, always developing and free! at

English Teachers Everywhere - Kevin McCaughey. This site is designed for teachers to use, but students could have a lot of fun here as well. Kevin, a very talented (and funny), top-flight EFL teacher/trainer writes: English Teachers Everywhere is the place for ESL audio files. It's the only web site where you can find audio that's classroom-ready: copy the mp3s, take them into class, and you've got an efficient activity suitable for beginners or advanced learners of English. And most of the time you don't need any additional materials or preparations.
