1. Puzzlemaker-Free, 10+ different formats designed for printing (DiscoverySchool.com)2. Worksheet Generator-Free, 10+ different formats designed for printing (DiscoverySchool.com)
3. PIZZAZ (Leslie Opp-Beckman) - Free, printable creative writing activities (Here are samples of student writing using these materials).
4. Reader's Theater (Aaron Shepard) - Free, reproducible scripts of stories from various cultures of the world, especially to be performed in a Reader's Theater setting.
5. English-to-Go Instant Lesson - Free newspaper story weekly, complete with language exercises and an answer key. (difficulty varies weekly from elementary to upper intermediate). Print these off to use in class or have students access them online, print them, and complete them for homework. There is an extensive archive that can be accessed for $30 for a four month subscription. Enter your EMail address at the site and be notified of the content of the free weekly lesson.
6. Graphic Organizer Maker (TeAch-Nology) - Free, very simple and quick. Create Timelines, SQ3R Chart Generator, Concept Web Generator, etc.
7. Create a Chart (National Center for Educations Statistics) - Easy as 1,2,3. Label the x and y axis. Enter your values and a range. Give your chart a title and you're done. Ready to print out and use. Encourage your students to collect data, graph it and come to conclusions about what they've done!
8. OneStopEnglish - Excellent printed handouts for free. Registration required for many resources. No need to register to use handouts for vocabulary on a variety of themes. Some portions of site cover British and American English.
