EXPERIENCE
Provide online instruction in CALL (Computer Assisted Language
Learning), specifically using Internet tools for English language
teaching and professional development.
Adjunct Instructor - MATESOL program. Teach Curriculum and
Technology course to graduate students and inservice teachers.
As Lecturer- Teach
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to international students.
Classes focus on acquisition of linguistic, socio-cultural and study
skills needed to successfully function in a university setting.
Responsibilities include 15 hours of weekly classroom instruction,
course development, and student advising.
As Computer Resource Person - Responsible for professional
development materials and training of staff; maintenance and set up
of hardware; research and purchase of software for departmental and
student use; collection and organization of WWW resources; ongoing
revision of departmental WWW home page; liaison to campus Information
Technology department.
As Technology Trainer/English Language Specialist - Provide
CALL training on both desktop and Internet-based resources. Regularly
train teachers for the Graduate School of Education, Lewis &
Clark College. Direct workshops for area public and private schools
on a private contract basis. Have developed and implemented two
online courses, originally for the U.S. State Department, now offered
several times per year for the Graduate School of Education, Lewis
& Clark College. Online course Web sites are "Integrating
the Internet into the Classroom."

Web 2.0: Tools for Classroom Teaching and Professional
Development." Course has
been taken by teachers in over 30 countries. Work for U.S. State
Department as an English Language Specialist delivering keynotes and
