Lewis & Clark, a national college with a global reach, is known for its programs in overseas study, strong and varied academic offerings in liberal arts and sciences, and ideal setting in Portland, Oregon.

In the Department of Music, both music majors and nonmajors have access to a dedicated faculty of concerts artists, scholars and composers; instruction in non-Western as well as Western music; and ten performing ensembles, from choir to African marimba.
