Loot
In general, the Pirates assume that any loot you get is yours—we do not require donations to the Guild Bank, or the like. At the same time, the Pirates are built upon mutual support— giving material support to other guildies or sending generically useful items to the Bank is always appreciated. From time to time, the guild may run an instance with specific loot goals in mind (e.g. “Stock up on Righteous Orbs” or “Get Dark Iron for a guild Blacksmith”); in these cases the goal will be clear before the run begins, and the appropriate loot will go to the bank or designated individual. Finally, the Pirates prefer to use a loot system best described as 'Be Chill.' In short, this means that on guild runs, people should be chill about loot: upgrades should go to those who can best use them, everyone should walk out with something (i.e. if you’ve already gotten a good drop, pass to those who have not), and so forth. If a main character and an alt can both benefit from a drop, the main has priority.

Bank
Note: With the advent of in-game guild banks, this section is open to revision--if you have any comments, please let us know...

Our guild bank holds both items and gold for the guild’s benefit. Currently, the bank has three sections for items:

If in doubt as to what section to deposit an item in, toss it wherever you think best, and a guild officer will sort it if necessary.

Guild members are encouraged to withdraw from the Bank as they need, and deposit as they are able. In order to ensure -- in case of conflict -- that Blue and Purple items go to interested mains over alts, please contact Morighann, Sahar, Iounu, Nny, or Gamedis to retrive items from the Blues & Purples bank category.

The Pirates will attempt to bank class-specific items (BoE set pieces, tomes, etc.) for any level 50+ character. In order to maintain the Bank coffers and keep room clear for new items, duplicate or unneeded items are occasionally sold at the Auction House, with proceeds poured back into the Bank.

In addition to providing a reserve of funds for characters in need of repairs, critical purchases, or the like, the Pirates’ Bank also provides aid—in the form of cold, hard coinage—for characters seeking their mounts:

Guild Rank

For the purposes of easing guild roster management, we have created two guild ranks that are worth noting:

Guild Status

Guild members who have not logged on in over a month will be flagged as inactive - this is merely to better enable us all to know who is likely to be around at any given point in time, and better focus the Bank's aid efforts on active characters (i.e. we are unlikely to bank gear for characters that haven't logged on in 6 months).

A member who has been inactive for over a year may be removed from the Pirates, unless we are able to get in touch with you and confirm that you would like to remain part of the guild.
