Current
Add-Ons
This
is a
selection of Add-Ons that various Pirates have found useful -- all are working
with the current patch. If there is a particular Add-On that you enjoy and that
works with the current patch, please let
us know.
- Ace
Mods: Light-weight and efficent Add-Ons, with a pleasing
utility that keeps them updated for you. In particular, Pirates have enjoyed
using:
- Omen
-- A threat meter
- oRA2
-- Raid display & management
- BigWigs
-- Timers and warnings for boss encounters
- Cosplay
-- See how gear looks without actually stripping down in the middle of
Stormwind
- FuBar
-- Sticks a small icon bar on your screen margin for add-on access
- Niagra
-- Change mod settings via a graphical interface -- no more remembering
slash commands
- Rating
Buster -- Shows what the total impact of any item is on your stats
(e.g. adds agility and crit rating points together to show how much your
crit percentage increases)
- Arena
Master -- Automatically share information about your opponents with
your arena team
- XRS
-- Useful, customizable display for raid information (e.g. percentage
of healer mana remaining)
- ItemRack:
Allows single-click swapping between different sets of gear (e.g. Fire Resistance
gear, DPS gear, Role Playing gear, etc.).
- Tank
Buddy: Helps tanks keep group members informed about taunt failures, shield
wall status, etc.
- Aura
Map : Displays auras and custom distances on your mini-map, making it
eaiser to keep party members in range.
- Atlas:
In-game maps of instances, battlegrounds, and the like.
- Grimorie
Keeper: Updates the display at Demon Trainers, to show which spells your
warlock demons already know.
- Auctioneer:
Tracks market prices and assists with all your mercantile needs.
- GuildOrg.
Gives an expanded guild window, allowing most notably for Alts to be assosciated
with the appropaite Main, sorted into an expandable list.*
*Notes:
(1) Morighann can send you a version of GuildOrg with the Pirates already
grouped into Main/Alts, if you would like.
(2) GuildOrg needs to set Blizz's standard guild interface to "Show Offline
Members" in order to work -- hiding offline guildies will work normally
within GuildOrg's window however.
(3) GuildOrg
needs you to occasionally open the standard guild interface in order to update
-- this can become tiresome. The following macro side-steps the issue, and
provides you with a open, updated GuidOrg window:
/script ToggleFriendsFrame(3); ToggleFriendsFrame(3)
/go window open
Macros

/script L=GetDefaultLanguage("player"); x,y=GetPlayerMapPosition("player");
SendChatMessage(string.format("I am at %s... (%d, %d)", GetMinimapZoneText(),1+x*100,1+y*100),
"WHISPER", L, UnitName("player"));
- Mount

(Ctrl-Click will always call your land mount); if you are already mounted,
this macro will dismount you.

main-hand weapon when clicking will switch to dual-wielding.
*Notes: Use the '?' icon for this macro. Replace SHIELD_MAIN_HAND, YOUR_SHIELD,
