Herbal Medicine with Flynn De Bona <fdebona@lclark.edu>
Class will cover the basics of herbal medicine and introduce specific plants in detail, but also be informal and discussion based. Learn how to make and use simple botanical remedies, tinctures and salves. Concentrations may include; herbs and women’s’ health, herbs for mental health, identifying native plants, probiotics (making sauerkraut, mead, yogurt, etc.). Topics may spill into other aspects of healing and other alternative methods.
