This footprint group is looking into the feasibility of installing solar power panels onto the roof of Olin. These panels would provide a renewable source of power for the campus and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. Just as important is that it would set an example for other schools and businesses showing Lewis & Clark’s environmental initiatives and hopefully encourage more widespread use of renewable resources like solar panels. It is still a question of cost before the college will take any sort of action and the students are figuring out ways in which to economically make it work.
