This footprint group is traditionally responsible for encouraging green practices within the Bon Apetit, Lewis & Clark’s food service provider. Organic foods, waste minimizing, green cleaning, composting and recycling have all been major concerns for this footprint group in years past. This year the footprint group working to get Bon Apetit to accurately label organic foods so that students can tell what the are eating. The group also researched the major sources of Bon Apetit’s food and continued with composting food scraps.
