Required Books

1.  Lind, Schwarz, Lathrope and Rosenberg, Fundamentals of Partnership Taxation (8th ed. 2008).  Older editions are way too out-of-date to be used safely.

2.  Lathrope (ed.), Selected Federal Taxation Statutes and Regulations (West, 2009 or 2008 ed.).  Please have the 2009 or 2008 edition of the Code (2009 preferred). Older editions may not have all the materials we will be using, particularly in the regulations.  There should be plenty of used copies of the 2009 edition around, as they were used in big sections of Income Tax I in the fall term just concluded.
