Purpose:

The students participating in the Lewis & Clark College Spring 2003 Australia Overseas Program will be looking forward to an action-packed exploration of Australia. The curriculum includes an in depth look at the culture and history of Australia's people as well as investigation and interaction with Australian land and animals.

General Outline:

  • The first segment of the program covers a one month stay in Sydney
  • In the next portion we will be living with homestay families in Brisbane
  • For the last portion of the program we will be on constant move, doing things such as visiting the Great Barrier Reef and living with Aborigines!

Website:
We hope that this website provides an up to date account of our Australian experiences for anyone interested in tracking our progress. Eventually, if all goes according to plan, this site will become a documentary resource that the group can easily access for years to come. Enjoy!
