Peer Review
Board was created to serve the LC community by resolving student conduct
matters through the use of peer representation and the development of
educationally appropriate sanctions. As fellow students, we provide a
neutral and objective setting to provide those charged with violating
college policy the opportunity to explain their actions to their peers. The
Board determines if students are responsible or not responsible for alleged
violations of Lewis & Clark's Code of Conduct. If found responsible, the
Board imposes specific sanctions that are both appropriate and consistent
with the Conduct Matrix. The student violator will then be required to
complete those sanctions within a specified time period. To view the code
Code of Conduct, please refer to the
Pathfinder
Online.
The Board is chaired by the Chief Justice and is composed of 12 Lewis &
Clark students that are recruited and appointed by the Chief Justice after
approval by the ASLC executive council.
The Board also discusses judicial issues that effect the student body and
attempts to initiate change in the Student Code of Conduct or judicial
process to better benefit students. If you have any concerns with the Lewis
& Clark College Student Code of Conduct or judicial process please contact
the Chief Justice.
