Redeption

This book is the story of animal sheltering in the United States, a movement that was born of compassion and then lost its way. It is the story of the No Kill movement, which says we can and must stop the killing. It is about heroes and villains, betrayal and redemption. And it is about a social movement as noble and just as those that have come before. But most of all, it is a story about believing in the community and trusting in the power of compassion.

Join us as we meet the author, Nathan J. Winograd, founder of The No Kill Advocacy Center. Nathan will make a presentation on his experiences and will sign copies of the book. Redemption is scheduled for release on September 1, 2007 and copies will be available at the event for $16.95.

What Readers Have to Say:

Powerful and inspirational.
This book will have a truly transformational effect.

Don't miss this book! It's a must read for anyone who cares about animals or about creating a more compassionate society.

In the tradition of Uncle Tom's Cabin, The Jungle, and Silent Spring, some books can change the course of their movement's history.
This is one of them.
