Baccalaureate Celebration
Saturday, May 9, 5 p.m.-6:15 p.m.

This inspirational, interfaith event is planned by a committee of seniors, and is an inclusive celebration designed for the class of 2009 and your families. The committee is just beginning its work to develop a theme, select readings and music, and to invite seniors to participate in a variety of ways.

The Baccalaureate Celebration is a commencement weekend event planned by and for seniors, so please mark your calendars now and plan to attend. Seniors on the Baccalaureate Planning Committee are: Tom Anderson, Chris Bailey, David Berman, Emily Deichsel, Sarit Gluz, Danielle Johnson, and Elton Kelly.

We are also pleased to announce that we have already chosen our 2009 Baccalaureate keynote speaker. He is Brian McLaren, a religious leader and outspoken advocate for spiritual transformation. Brian is a prolific author and a dynamic speaker who has inspired many audiences throughout our nation and the world.

Seniors are invited to contact one or more of the above committee members if you have any ideas that you would like to suggest for this event.
