In the Classroom

The story of the Lewis and Clark Expedition provides many opportunities for learning. Studies of the expedition encompass a number of disciplines including history, botany, zoology, ethnology, and linguistics. We encourage educators to look closely at the weekly accounts of the expedition provided on this website, and find ways to incorporate the content into their classrooms over the next four years.

Over the next year Lewis & Clark College plans to develop curriculum components that will be added to the weekly accounts of the Corps of Discovery.
