This documentary film, presented by John Wayne Cly, tells the story of Mr. Cly's adoption as a child by white missionaries and his reunion with his Navajo family at age 41. The film also documents the health problems endured by the Navajo people as a result of uranium mining on the reservation. Weaving together the themes of environmental justice and a return to cultural roots, this award-winning film tells the poignant story of individual and cultural renewal. Following the film, Mr. Cly will speak about his experiences and answer questions.
