Hollis Taylor: Solo, Duo, Quartetto

Violinist/composer Hollis Taylor’s began her career in classical music, performing with the Oregon Symphony (the youngest member at age 18). Since then she has extended into the worlds of jazz, folk, and country music. Her playing is featured in the films My Own Private Idaho, and Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (on-screen performance). Taylor will perform her newest jazz-influenced works, ranging from solo violin to string quartet. Joining her will be violinist Paloma Griffin, violist Jöel Belgique, and cellist Nancy Ives.
