Over the past generation, the Ronna and Eric Hoffman family has acquired an exquisite collection of photographs. As a way to develop the aesthetic and visual acuity of their children, the Hoffman’s began a tradition of allowing them to select important photographs as holiday and birthday gifts. Learning to Look, a selection of highlights from this personal collection, is a rare opportunity to view photographs that represent virtually the entire history of photography. Included in the collection are works by Jacques-Henri Lartigue, Robert Mapplethorpe, Arnold Newman, O. Winston Link, Irving Penn, Cecil Beaton, and many others, including important regional photographers.
