Portland Arts & Lectures welcomes the return of the gifted, albeit sublimely subversive, son and daughter of the Great Northwest, Matt Groening and Lynda Barry. Mapping out their own original territories in the cartoonists' world of satire and social criticism, Groening, the creator of The Simpsons and the syndicated Life in Hell, joins Lynda Barry, the creator of Ernie Pooks Comeek and several illustrated novels, for a unique evening that will unravel the secrets of the two singular imaginations they so generously bring to film, books and newspapers across the continent.
