 Lewis & Clark Student Animal Legal Defense Fund
Ten years ago the first chapter of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund was founded right here at Lewis & Clark Law School. SALDF members are active in the community volunteering at local organizations, lobbying their legislators and arranging for nationally known animal advocates such as Steven Wise and Carol Adams to speak on campus. The Lewis & Clark SALDF also hosts the National Animal Law Conference each fall in cooperation with The National Center For Animal Law.

The National Center For Animal Law was created to help provide training and support for those interested in pursuing a career in this important and growing area of the law. The website provides resources and information regarding animal law classes, competitions, employment opportunities, events and more.
 Animal Legal & Historical Web Center
Located at Michigan State University College of Law the Animal Legal & Historical Web Center has compiled a vast resource of over 500 full text cases, 774 U.S. statutes, and information on over 30 topics of interest in the animal law area. Articles from past issues of Animal Law are available for public reading as well.
 Animal Legal Defense Fund
Founded 25 years ago by attorneys with an interest in the emerging field of animal law, ALDF has been at the forefront of the campaign for stronger enforcement of anti-cruelty laws and more humane treatment of animals. Today, their efforts are supported by hundreds of dedicated attorneys and more than 100,000 members.
 Animal Law: A Special Interest Group (SIG) of American Mensa Ltd.
Founded in June 2006, the Animal Law SIG provides basic information and a discussion forum for members of Mensa who have an interest in the emerging field of animal law.
