Citizen Suits

Citizen suits provide a unique and powerful method for enforcement of environmental laws. This class provides an examination of the citizen suit provisions of major environmental statutes, with emphasis on prerequisites for bringing citizen suits, reviewability of claims, standards of judicial review, and remedies.
