Advanced Legal Research

Session I: Tuesday, May 26-Monday, June 29, 3:30-5:30 p.m., exam TBD

Focus on legal research strategy and in-depth coverage of print and online legal materials. Emphasis on analysis of legal problems and integrated manual and online research strategies. The goal is to develop knowledge of appropriate research strategies and understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of available resources and when the use of certain resources is most appropriate. Students will complete a variety of research assignments that emphasize research strategy and methodology.
