Summer School 2009

Take advantage of a unique opportunity to study Environmental Law, Indian Law, Animal Law and general classes this summer in one of America's most beautiful cities.

Courses are open to law students, lawyers, and other college graduates interested in law. Housing is available on-campus or in nearby neighborhoods.

Classes offering three semester hours of credit meet four days a week for two hours each day. Classes offering two hours of credit in a shorter time-frame meet for nine days, three hours each day.

The legal clinic may be completed by attending four full days a week for five weeks.

Lewis & Clark is a partner with the University of San Diego in its summer law program. USD offers courses in several different countries. You can register for the courses here through our registrar's office. The information about what is available can be found at the USD summer school website. Session I: Tuesday, May 26-Thursday, June 25, Exams: June 26 and June 29
(Classes meet T-F the first week and M-Th the remaining weeks. Intensives meet T-F the first week and M-F the second week with the exam on the following Monday.)

Session II: Tuesday, June 30 -Thursday, July 30, Exams: July 31 and August 3
(Classes meet T-Th the first week, M-F the second and third week and M-Th the remaining week. Intensives meet T-F the first week and M-F the second week, with the exam on the following Monday.)

July 4th Holiday weekend: Intensive classes will be held during the holiday at their normal time and location. 5 week classes will have the 3rd of July off.
