Bess Austin

I grew up in Berkeley, California and moved to Portland in the early 1970's. I earned by bachelors of science in nursing from the University of Portland and my masters in nursing specializing in family practice from Washington State University. I joined the Lewis and Clark Student Health Service staff in the early 1980's.

My special interests apart from the students at Lewis and Clark College are: my family, my husband, four children and 2 grandchildren; gardening; hiking and skiing.
