2008 SAAC Fall Carnival

The L&C Student Athlete Advisory Committee is working towards accomplishing the goals set forth by the NCAA, requiring that “student-athletes, coaches, athletics and campus administrators work together to facilitate critical dialogue, address Division III specific issues and create the partnerships needed to impact positive change at the campus, conference and divisional level.” SAAC is made up of two athletes from each varsity team chosen by their teammates and coaches to represent their sport as well as Lewis & Clark athletics.

On Sunday, November 23, SAAC hosted the Fall Carnival held in the Tennis Dome on the Lewis & Clark campus. The Carnival included fun activities for the children in the community to enjoy. There were prizes and games including: bobbing for apples, balloon animals, relay races, putting contests, face painting and much more.

Admission into the event was two canned or non-perishable items, which were then donated by SAAC to the Oregon Food Bank.
