Elizabeth Kelly Keys ’70 is the director of Christian education and the youth director at the Presbyterian Church of Laurelhurst in Portland. In June 2001, she was elected moderator of the Presbytery of the Cascades, the regional governing body for 126 Presbyterian Churches in western Oregon, southwestern Washington, and northern California. Elizabeth is married to Ted Keys ’71; they have two daughters, Meagyn and Emily, and a son, Morgan.

Robert Lyons ’70 works in the media department of Maranatha Chapel in San Diego. He does live Webcasts four times a week and also works in television production.

Deborah Bail ’71, J.D. ’74 led a movement to create the first shelter for victims of domestic violence in Boise, Idaho, where she is a Fourth District judge. She was an assistant U.S. attorney in Boise from 1978 to 1983, before becoming the first female district judge in Idaho. She and her 12-year-old adopted daughter, Basanti, live in Idaho, where Bail has taken up golf.

Linda Jorgenson Scott ’71 works as a fund-raiser for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, one of the United Kingdom’s largest children’s charities. She lives south of London with her husband, David Scott.

Kenneth "Ken" Cuno ’72 has been teaching Middle East history at the University of Illinois since 1990. He is married and has two children.

Robert "Bob" Parsons ’72 opened Parsons Hospitality Group, a consulting firm currently working with Legends Condominiums, an 80-unit complex near the Multnomah Athletic Club. He has managed many high-profile resorts and Portland restaurants, including Jake’s Famous Crawfish.

Keith Raines ’72, J.D. ’76 is a Washington County Circuit Court judge. He opened two legal clinics for low-income families involved in divorce and child custody cases: St. Andrew Legal Clinic in Portland and St. Matthew Legal Clinic in Hillsboro.

Mark Woolley ’74, M.A.T. ’77 held an art party and benefit in April for Sisters of the Road Café, which has been providing low-cost meals, job training, and support to homeless and low-income residents of Old Town in Portland since 1979.

Gregory Harris ’75 is an attorney who lives in Portland. In June, he married Kimberly Colge in Congregation Shaarie Torah.

Holly Mitchell ’75, J.D. ’84 works for Davis Wright Tremaine’s Portland office as a lateral attorney specializing in corporate law and business transactions. She has also practiced locally with Bogle & Gates and Niehaus Hanna Murchy Osaka & Dunn.

Michael Kasperzak ’76 is serving a one-year term as vice mayor of Mountain View, california, in the heart of Silicon Valley. His reelection campaign will begin in the fall.

James "Jim" Wells ’77 serves on the Trout Lake School Board in Washington. He is one of the founders of Alaska Wild-land Adventures, a tour company that operates wildlife safaris, as well as remote wilderness and fishing lodges in Alaska. In addition, he is the director of Northwest Service Academy, an AmeriCorps program with more than 75 members.

Meredith Norton Davis ’78 is the vice president of corporate banking for california Bank and Trust. She is the leader of her sixth-grader’s Girl Scout troupe. Her 10th-grader received a Silver Award as a 10-year Cadette Girl Scout.

Brian Dunkley ’79 is the medical director of the imaging department of Adventist Medical Center in Portland and the chair of Diagnostic Radiologists.

Lawrence Lawrence "Larry" Miles ’77 works in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as a safety and environmental engineer, after serving 12 years in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant commander. He is married, has four children, and is active in the Ann Arbor Church of Christ.
