The Tenth Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society's Northwest Section will be held Thursday Evening through Saturday Afternoon 15 - 17 May 2008, at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. This meeting brings together participants from institutions in the Northwest region of the United States and Western Canada.

Participants may register for the conference, secure on-campus lodging, reserve on-campus meals or purchase banquet tickets on the Registration Website.

Registration for the conference entitles participants to attend the opening reception on Thursday evening, all plenary and parallel sessions, the poster session, and the refreshment breaks. Each registrant will receive a name badge and a conference program.

Participants and their guests are invited to attend the conference banquet on Friday 16 May at 19:00 in Fields Dining Hall of the Templeton College Center of Lewis & Clark College. Our banquet speaker will be David Monette, who will introduce us to the very applied acoustics of the manufacture of world class wind instruments.

Individual Meals for Off-Campus Lodgers

While Portland is noted for its fine dining and directions to local eateries accessible by automobile will be provided, there are no restaurants within walking distance of campus. Individual meals may be ordered in advance.

Cancellation Policy - Refunds may be requested through Monday 12 May 2008 (there will be a $20 fee for processing refund requests).
