Continuing Teaching License

CTL - Three Students

Oregon educators who hold an Initial Teaching License can add a Continuing License. Due to recent changes in guidelines from the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC), the Continuing Teaching License is now offered as part of our endorsement programs.

The following endorsement programs meet the academic requirements for the Continuing Teaching License:

To be recommended for an Oregon Continuing Teaching License, you must:

be admitted to and complete one of the above programs,
have a master's degree in education or a closely related field, and
have five years of licensed teaching in a K-12 school.
