Advanced Business Seminar
This seminar will explore current topics in business law including regulatory reforms stemming from the global banking crisis, corporate and securities fraud, and business litigation. We will examine the legal issues behind the headlines and the role of attorneys in advising clients on these matters.
NOTE: The seminar will meet twice a week for the first half of the semester but will not meet regularly during the second half of the term. During the second half of the semester students will write papers which can, if the student desires, satisfy any of the school’s applicable writing requirements. The seminar will culminate with an all day Class Forum at which students will present their papers and comment upon the work of others. All students must commit to attend and participate in the Class Forum scheduled for Tuesday, April 27th, 2010 (the first day of Spring reading period).
Class Limit: 15 Students
Meets A or B Writing Requirements and W.I.E or Capstone Writing Requirements.
