Faculty and Staff are vital to L&C
The faculty and staff of Lewis & Clark College are the mainstay of the College and make for a vibrant community of scholars, teachers, and mentors who make a difference in the lives of students.
Your dedication to the College is evident in the fine work you do on campus and in the satisfaction of L&C students. Further dedication is shown by the faculty and staff's financial support of the College, endorsing the high quality of the liberal arts education at Lewis & Clark.
Some choose to support programs about which they are deeply passionate and others give to the Annual Fund, which supports the highest priorities of the College, like student financial aid.
Read here about just a few of L&C's unique faculty giving stories.
Your Participation Means More Foundation Grants
National private foundations consider alumni, faculty, staff, and trustee Annual Fund giving before awarding grants to institutions. These foundations are more likely to award grants when the College's own community financially supports the institution.
Foundation contributions help L&C to:
- Raise the College's profile and national standing
- Offer more scholarships, fellowships and professorships
- Improve academic programs and facilities
- Purchase equipment
- Provide opportunities for research and outreach programs
