We provide the most extensive academic-year environmental and natural resources curriculum in the United States. This gives our students flexibility in choosing their courses and the potential for careful focus in areas of special interest. We strive for balance between environmental and resources topics and between courses and small-group seminars. If the courses offered do not address your interests, you can design an independent research project under the supervision of a faculty member. Below is a list of courses and seminars we offer each year or every other year. These classes are available to J.D. and LL.M. students (except as noted). Each summer we also offer several special intensive environmental courses.
