What’s the nature of religious violence? Are democracy and theocracy compatible? Is religious freedom conducive to security?
Religious scholars and international experts debated these and related questions at the 41st International Affairs Symposium in April. Lewis & Clark students organized the three-day event, titled Sanctity and Statecraft: The Role of Religion in International Affairs.
