Medical and Physiological Aspects of Eating Disorders

This course will present an in-depth analysis of the epidemiology, etiology, and physiology of medical and nutritional aspects of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and related eating disorders. The medical and physiological aspects of obesity will also be discussed. Information will be research-based as well as practical and will be presented within the multidisciplinary model of treatment.
