Credit and Certification Information

Credit Options

Graduate level degree-applicable credit and continuing education credit are available for those working toward a degree. It is advisable for you to consult with an academic advisor prior to enrolling to ensure the coursework will transfer to your program. Standards and expectations for student work have been established by instructors. A significant amount of work outside class is reqired; regular attendance and timely submission of all class assignments and projects is expected.

Certificate of Completion

A certificate of completion is awarded to all who successfully complete the program in Intercultural Conflict Transformation as a non-credit student. This certificate reflects te total contact hours for continuing education credit of 150 hours. In addition, students needing to document their participation on a course-by-course basis can receive a certificate of completion for each individual course they successfully complete.

Certification Information (CUEs, Licensure and Washington Clock Hours)

Thirty contact hours are available for each course. Participants can receive a certificate of completion for each course completed or NBCC clock hour verification. CEUs may be used toward Oregon and Washington counseling or social work license. Washington State clock hours are available for those who request them at the first class meeting.

Single Course Enrollment

Interested in taking just one class? Courses in this program are open for single-course enrollment for those who do not wish to earn the certificate. Please note that courses taken as a non-certificate student are not automatically applied towards a certificate of completion in the program. Single-course enrollments are on a space-available basis.
