Academic Awards & Grants
Students who successfully combine their academic, service, and athletic interests during their early years of college often become successful candidates for national grants and awards. Students are encouraged to browse attached listings and confer with faculty mentors about preparing competitive applications. In addition, the College has appointed designated faculty representatives for a number of the most prestigious and lucrative fellowships; interested students should consult with those representatives well before applications are due, and make sure to observe internal deadlines where relevant.

Internal Financial Aid
Student Financial Services is the office that handles most of the College’s internal financial aid. It is by far the biggest and most significant source of assistance for undergraduates at the College. The Music Department and the Forensics Team both have small scholarship programs that they administer as well.
External Funding
Undergraduates seeking to supplement their financial aid awards should also consider applying for external funding, granted all over the country by a dizzying array of local and philanthropic organizations. This site is a compilation of an extensive list of resources from civic organizations to labor unions to heritage groups that you can search in a variety of different ways.
