What did you like the most? Mingling with different alumni whom I had not met; learning about the nationally-recognized work of a professor.
What did you like the least? We didn't have the chance to mingle at the Exploratorium event.
What events would you like to see in the future? Career networking, faculty presentations, happy hours, activities (e.g., College outdoors trip for alumni)

What did you like the most? Discussion about Geckos. Really fascinating. So nice that we were fed and got free access to the Exploratorium too.
What did you like the least? Too much time spent at the beginning by the professor talking about why it's important for LC to have this kind of curriculum. Seemed like he was preaching to the choir. I also would have enjoyed it more if it was more interactive.
What events would you like to see in the future? Faculty presentations and more alumni overseas trip opportunities.

Thanks, the gecko presentation was so interesting! and thanks too for the free tickets to the Exploratorium. We really enjoyed it!

What did you like the most? I enjoyed talking with other L&C grads. Having been out of school for 44 years there were not any class of '64 people that I met, but it was fun.
What did you like the least? I didn't think the food was very good, but then I am in the business and am very picky so this comment should be taked with a grain of salt.
What events would you like to see in the future? Personally I like the social reception. Faculty presentation are OK if the subject is unusual and interesting. I am sorry I didn't get to the gecko lecture but I had a last minute conflict and couldn't go.
Question: How did 111 Minna get chosen for the last reception? Was there a definite L&C connection or did someone just know of the place?
Answer: We asked locals about a good central location, and 111 Minna came up a lot. We were disappointed there was no art on the walls on Thursday, but overall it's a venue we'll keep in mind for the future. There is no L&C connection that we know of.

What did you like about the event? I had just returned from my Mother's funeral so wasn't able to stay long or attend the event on Saturday. But, it was close to my office, great, just after work, even better and I saw a friend I hadn't seen in years.
What events would like to see in the future? I actually like the educational events and was very disappointed I wasn't able to go on Saturday.

What did you like the most? I enjoyed the venue, because it was close to my work, central, and close to public transportation so people from the East Bay could come in easily as well!
What did you like the least? People seemed to talk to only people they knew from either their own class or previous events. Being a newbie to the alumni scene, I would have liked some format in which we interacted more with people we did not know.
What events would you like to see in the future? Social receptions are great and I really enjoyed the format of Cyrus Partovi's event at the University Club I went to in January of 2005(?).
What faculty would you like to see visit? Andrew Cortell, Cyrus Partovi, Rima Dasgupta, Cliff Bekar

What did you like the most? The lecture and the venue...Kellar gave an excellent lecture and I had so much fun at the Exploratorium afterwards. And the free food!
What events would you like to see in the future? Faculty presentations

What did you like the most? The venue, reconnecting with someone who attend LC at the same time as I did.
What did you like the least? No agenda or activities
What events would you like to see in the future? Social receptions, career networking receptions
What event ideas do you have? Some activities so that folks that were on campus at the same time or had the same major can connect.

What did you like the most? Seeing other alumni, hearing about research that is happening at L&C today, and just being back in that lecture environment again.
What events would you like to see in the future? Faculty presentations, lectures & educational opportunities, career networking receptions
What event ideas do you have? The Exploratorium was great. Maybe next time the Chabot Space & Science Center?
What faculty would you like to see visit? The ENTIRE Economics Department! Especially Marty Hart-Landsberg

What did you like the most? Fellowship.
What did you like the least? The food could have been more hors-d'oevrish, if that makes any sense. The rice and shishkebab were a little too reminiscent of the Trail Room.
What events would you like to see in the future? I think unstructured cocktail parties are great. Maybe a reception after an LC alumni performer's concert, art show or play?
What faculty would you like to see visit? Nora Beck, if she's still in there.
Other comments or questions? Thanks for putting all of this together!
