Climate scientists largely agree that the world is warming up fast and that greenhouse gas pollution is the major reason why. How much hotter is it going to get? How will global warming affect us? And, can we afford to slow it down? Professor Goodstein will explore these questions and focus on clean-energy solutions to climate destabilization. He will also discuss how Lewis & Clark College is pioneering some of these solutions.

Eban Goodstein, in addition to his roles at Lewis & Clark College, is executive director of Green House Network and a research associate at the Economic Policy Institute in Washington, D.C. His work has been featured in Scientific American, the New York Times, the Economist, the American Prospect, and on National Public Radio, among other media.
