Difficulties Confronting Post-9/11 Global Threat Bob Mandel, professor and department chair of international affairs, will discuss the complexities of the post-911 global environment.
A Spider's Eye View of Biodiversity Greta Binford, assistant professor of biology, will explore the diversity of spiders, their venoms, and feeding behaviors.
The Making of a Novel: History, Geography, and Imagination in A Man You Could Love John Callahan Morgan S. Odell professor of humanities, will discuss themes from his recent novel.

The Middle East Quagmire and the United States Foreign Policy Nightmare Cyrus Partovi '67, senior lecturer in social sciences, will speak about today's issues concerning the Middle East and the United States.
Who You've Been and Who You'll Be Janet Davidson, associate professor and chair of psychology, will discuss developmental theories and research that portray stability and change across the human lifespan.
Geckos: Biological Inspiration for Smart Adhesives and Climbing Robots. Kellar Autumn, associate professor of biology, will explain how geckos hang from the ceiling, his efforts to mimic this evolutionary trait, and explore the endless everyday applications for such technology.
