| About: | WEAR GREEN ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21st! Many of you have signed the invitation to Senators Smith and Wyden asking for them to join the Focus the Nation event on January 31st. Our next step is to deliver this invitation to them in Salem. We are doing this through the Green Torch Relay! The Green Torch Relay, an awareness-raising event for Focus the Nation teach-in, is happening October 21-23, 2007. The relay will launch from Lewis & Clark on Sunday, October 21st on the SOA lawn at 2:00. Everyone is invited to attend the Launch Party so we can send the green torch off in style. We’ll have some good music and some inspiring words and send the first runner, and the green torch on its way! |
