| About: | Students, faculty, alumni, and staff are invited to participate in a a day of service in celebration of Earth Day! We will meet outside Templeton at 12:15 and walk to Tryon Creek State Park. Participants should wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle and rain gear. If you are unable to walk to the park, let us know and we can arrange transportation. We will be meeting Tryon's Eco-Trails chair at the park's Nature Center at 1pm, when we will walk to the spot to remove invasive species of ivy. Afterwards we may take a short hike.
