Things I should NOT do

Little than two more weeks left…and I am doing things I shouldn’t

So here is the deal, I have about a week before I need to turn in my thesis and then one more week to take care of my other classes. In addition to that I have finals and projects to complete. A normal student in this situation would be freaking out. Don’t get me wrong, I am freaking out, however I am also procrastinating like no other. Let me set the scene.

It’s Friday night (and I feel alright) and I am working on my thesis [how exciting you must be thinking]. Anyways, seeing as working in my apartment on a Friday night would be one of the most unproductive things I could do, I decided to go up to my office in the student union center. I locked myself up thinking, “hey, I can get stuff done.” Do I? NO, NO I DON’T. But why? Well, my dear ol’ friend Chris stopped by because he just happens to know all my hiding places and needed to blow off some steam. I decided that it would be okay to talk to him for a little bit. Did this happen? NO!!! It didn’t. Why? Because my other friend/roommate Rebecca showed up as well. Guess what happen…we spend about 2.5 hours just chattin’ it up and shaking our pom-pom (Missy Elliott song). So what then, I got nothing done.

The weekend comes and I say to myself, “Hey Rosie, get stuff done.” I sort of do it, but not to the caliber that it needs to get done. Reason you may ask??? My roommate! I love them to pieces, but they are my biggest distraction. See pictures for entertainment purposes…this is one example of the ridiculousness that happens in a all senior apartment.

Anyways, this weekend will be devoted to getting everything together, hopefully it will happen. Wish me luck and until next time.
