This is my very last blog! That must mean my senior year is almost over! Unbelievable. For my last post of the year, I went through my whole blog and picked a couple of pictures from each post. It's a random review of the year.

I feel I should impart some words of wisdom or somesuch nonsense to those of you who are planning on entering college next year. Of course, I felt a little silly making them all up on my own, and if you haven’t heard this stuff already, you should catch on pretty quick once you get here. But here a list off the top of my head:

Yay! A list! Everybody loves lists!

- Live in SOA (Stewart, Odell, Akin). My personal preference, of course.

- Go to as many events as you can, especially if they are free. Or have free food (this part is important). Go to the International fair, the Gender Studies Symposium; all the theatre productions; lectures, concerts, group events. Read the event posters and emails.

- Share your laundry cards. Or don’t share your laundry cards. Whatever.

- Work out your academic schedule for the next four years as soon as possible. Get those requirements out of the way early, plan to have a semester you can take for an overseas trip, and plan to have a light class schedule for senior semester. (Don’t wait until senior year to get that pre-18th century lit class out of the way, like I did).

- Go abroad!

- It takes five college students (and a website printout) to make a rope ladder (so you can get to the top bunk). And said rope ladder will never actually get you effectively into the top bunk (Liv and Krys’ advice)

- Law and Order is a cool show.

- Procrastination: Practice makes perfect.

- Go crazy during finals. Why not.

As for personally moving on after graduation, I already have an apartment in Portland, and will hopefully have a job soon. I don’t know what the next few years might hold, but for now, I’ll be working and trying to figure out this whole "adult" thing. After a year or so of Portland life, I may decide to continue to work here, or go back to school, or run away to New Zealand. Who knows?

(Or London. I could go either way.)
