Real Life, by Heather Hodges Thursday, December 9, 2004not a goodbye...
Ok all. Time for me to say goodbye.
I hate goodbyes. So, I take it back. This is no goodbye at all. It’s just a dramatic pause of undetermined length.
But, it’s time for me to move on. I haven’t enough time to keep this up (as you might have guessed from my lack of entries lately…I apologize)...but, there never is a spare moment. And I am in dire need of spare moments.
I wish all of you beauty and laughter and tears. Don’t let the seeming ‘everyday-ness’ of life stand in the way of savoring it down to its very marrow. Listen to the small voice inside of you. Listen to the small voices inside of others. Trust yourself. Let yourself trust others. Live through kindness. Live in awe. Don’t ever say you’re “bored”, because that’s an impossibility. Live honestly. Touch people. Give of yourself. Let yourself cry. Let yourself love. Be who you have always wanted to be. Live without regret.
