So this is it…the big goodbye…
It’s simply a matter of days is left between this school year’s termination and the future…zang!...It’s been digital folks…It’s been an honor to share my life with cyber space for a year and I thank you for reading it…
Strange memories and weird flashbacks…
Fire, nail polish, eyeliner, love, loss, and academia…
I’ve not much to leave you with of my own words, but this poem I’ll be reading for class tomorrow might sum it up:
It may be that we shall touch the happy isles And see the great Achilles, whom we knew. Though much is taken; much abides. And though we are not now that strength Which in the old days moved Earth and Heaven, That which we are, we are: One equal temper of heroic hearts Made weak by time and fate, but strong In will to strive, to seek, to find, And not to yield.
—Tennyson, “Ulysses”
go forth into the world, mortals, and spread good cheer! Dance, love and make merry. Play with fire and when you get burned apply moisturizers with Aloe and Vitamin E. Paint your face and your fingernails. If the fishnet tights fit: wear them! Howl like a werewolf, dress classy like a vampire, and drink life to the lees.
Much luck to you, Craig
